This site provides general information about published UK immigration rules. It does not provide immigration advice or immigration services, and nothing on it is tailored to your circumstances. See how our help works.

2. No adviser or solicitor–client relationship

Using this site, completing the questionnaire, or receiving a case summary does not create an adviser–client or solicitor–client relationship between you and us. Such a relationship arises only under a separate written engagement with a regulated adviser or firm.

3. Accuracy and currency

Immigration rules, fees and thresholds change frequently and may change without notice. Information here may be incomplete or out of date, and the linked gov.uk pages are the authoritative source. We do not warrant that the information is accurate, complete or current.

4. No liability for reliance

You must not rely on this site as a substitute for regulated advice. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on the information provided, including refused applications, missed deadlines, costs and consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

5. Your responsibilities

• Give accurate information, the summary is only as good as the answers you provide.
• Do not submit other people's personal data without their knowledge.
• Do not use the site unlawfully, or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer it.

6. Content and availability

Site content is ours or our licensors'. You may keep and share your own case summary. We may change, suspend or withdraw the service at any time, and these terms may be updated; the version published here applies to your use.

7. Privacy

We handle personal data as set out in our privacy notice.

8. Governing law

These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of Scotland, and the Scottish courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
