If something here isn't clear, ask us, we'd rather explain the boundary twice than have you rely on us for something we can't do.
- Is this legal advice?
- No. We give general information about published immigration rules and point you to the official gov.uk source. Advice on your own case, what to apply for, and how, comes from a regulated adviser. Immigration advice in the UK may only be given by advisers registered with the Immigration Advice Authority, or by solicitors and barristers regulated by the SRA or BSB.
- Can Clearway tell me which visa to apply for?
- No. We can show you the routes that may be relevant and the published requirements for each one. Deciding what you should apply for depends on your individual circumstances, and that is advice, which a regulated professional gives.
- When do I need a regulated adviser?
- When your situation needs judgement rather than information: previous refusals, gaps or absences, complex evidence, tight deadlines, dependants, or anything where the published rules could apply in more than one way.
- Do you guarantee a visa?
- No, and nobody honestly can. Decisions are made by the Home Office. Anyone promising a guaranteed approval is a warning sign, not a selling point.
- How are advisers vetted?
- Every adviser we work with shows their regulator and registration number so you can check them yourself on the public register: IAA, SRA or BSB. We don't allow any promise about the outcome of an application.
- Do I have to pay or give my email to see my results?
- No. The questions, the route information, the eligibility snapshot and the document checklist are all free and ungated. You only share your details if you choose to book a consultation, or ask us to email your summary.
- What do I get for £149?
- A 45-minute call with a regulated adviser, your case prepared in advance from your answers so you don't repeat yourself, and a written summary of your next steps after the call. The £149 is a flat price paid to Clearway for the consultation and the case preparation; the advice on your own case comes from the regulated adviser. Full application support is quoted separately, from £899, after the consultation.
- How current is the information?
- We track the published gov.uk rules and show the figures in force, with the source linked on every route so you can verify it. Rules and fees change often, and proposed reforms, such as the move toward a longer “earned settlement” period expected from April 2026, are flagged where they matter.
- What happens to my data?
- Nothing is stored about you unless you submit an enquiry or book a consultation. If you do, we hold it in the UK/EU on the basis of your consent, share it only with the regulated adviser handling your case, and never sell it. Full detail is in our privacy notice.
