Privacy notice

This notice explains what we do with your personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who is the controller

The controller is [BRAND] (working name "Clearway"). Company details and a registered address will be added here before launch. You can reach us at [CONTACT EMAIL].

What we collect

  • Answers you give in the eligibility questions: nationality, whether you are in the UK, current immigration status, purpose, job or course details, timeline.
  • The case summary generated from those answers.
  • Your name and email address, if you ask us to send your summary or contact an adviser.
  • Basic technical data needed to serve the site securely (for example IP address in server logs).

Please do not send us documents, passport scans or medical or criminal record details through this site. We do not need them at this stage.

Lawful basis

Our lawful basis is your consent. You give it by ticking the consent box before submitting your details, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. Where you decline analytics cookies, we use only cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work.

Where your data is held

Your data is stored on managed infrastructure located in the UK or the European Economic Area. Where any processor operates outside that region, we rely on UK-approved transfer safeguards.

Who we share it with

  • An IAA-registered immigration adviser, only when you ask us to pass your enquiry on.
  • Our hosting, database and email providers, acting on our instructions as processors.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 12 months from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless you have become a client of an adviser (in which case the adviser's own retention policy applies to their file) or we are required to keep records longer by law. Waitlist emails are kept until you unsubscribe or we close the waitlist.

Your rights

  • Access a copy of your data.
  • Have inaccurate data corrected.
  • Have your data deleted, or restrict how we use it.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Receive your data in a portable format.
  • Object to processing.

Email [CONTACT EMAIL] to exercise any of these. If you are unhappy with our response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Cookies

We set essential cookies and local storage needed to run the questionnaire. Analytics cookies are only used if you accept them in the cookie banner; you can decline without losing any functionality.
